Big Bang Branding Newtone a success

Newtone, a new consulting and accounting firm, was formed in 2024 from the merger of Koenen and Co, HLB Witlox Van den Boomen, and PKF Wallast. With this merger came a new name and corporate identity: Newtone. Thanks to the efforts of Documentaal all 1,100 employees were able to use the new branding immediately.

"The new name had to remain a secret until the day of the launch. For this we signed a non-disclosure agreement. In a shadow environment, we prepared everything to make the implementation of the name change run smoothly."

The challenge

With over 1,100 employees from 13 offices in the economic growth regions of the Southern and Western Netherlands, Newtone is a sizeable organization that takes everything it does seriously, including the launch of its new corporate identity. HLB Witlox Van den Boomen was already working with Documentaal and chose to have Documentaal facilitate this important transition as well. The challenge was to ensure that on the day of the launch, all Newtone employees could use the new corporate identity in all their documents.

The results

During the evaluation, we heard back that the project went pleasantly. After going live, a few small things still needed to be addressed, such as a small thing in the e mail signature. Menno: "In our software you can tackle this centrally. Based on your user profile, the house style that suits you is retrieved from this central environment. For this, we have adapted different types of templates, such as the letter, declaration document and agreement. We record the theme colors and numbering in a master template and copy them over all other templates. This saves an enormous amount of time for us and ultimately for the customer."

Thanks to this approach, a lot of time has been saved because adjustments are made centrally and are the same for everyone. This provides peace of mind and confidence that everything is right.

Independence and professionalism
