Secured documents

Documents created with dStyle can always be printed using PrintControl. However, it may happen that documents from outside the organisation need to be printed. These documents may be secured, for example, so that PrintControl will not be able to retrieve all the necessary data about the document.

In these cases, in order to retain the possibility of printing the document, the system switches to Microsoft's standard print screen. You will be informed of this in advance by means of the message below.

Section unreadable
Sections can be used to apply different layouts and formats within a document. This makes it possible, for example, not to display headers and footers on the first two pages of a document, but to display them on all the other pages.

It may be that a certain section contains an element that prevents PrintControl from 'reading' this section. PrintControl will then not be able to retrieve the paper settings of this section. In such a case, a message will be shown indicating which section cannot be read. You can then continue the printing process by clicking 'Yes'. The standard Windows print screen will then appear, allowing you to print the document in the standard way.
