If a silent install is to be performed, i.e. an installation without user action, the following script can be used.
msiexec /i " [name of msi] " /quiet /qn SHAREDIR="c:\[path to Sharedfolder]" CONTENTDIR="c:³[path to Contentfolder]" INSTALLEXCEL="Never" INSTALLPOWERPOINT="Never" INSTALLOUTLOOK="Never"
In this example, only the add-in is installed in Word, and not Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
